Well, Thanksgiving break is over and school has been FAST and FURIOUS since the break! This is Derek's busiest time of year with basketball going on so we have been literally going NON-stop since Thanksgiving! His team is doing good and is actually starting district next Tuesday! Can't believe how fast this season is going already!!! I have been growing and Growing and GROWING!!! These little babies are getting BIG!!! They are moving SO MUCH and love to kick me, Derek, and any other little baby or person that I try to hold! They are already a little bit CRAZY!!!

We had a check-up today and it was a little sad because it was the FIRST appointment that Derek was not at during this WHOLE process! He was busy coaching at the Sonora tournament so we definitely missed him! My parents got to fill in for Derek though so I was not alone! Every thing looked good today! The babies are growing and moving and both hearts were beating! They look a little bit more SMUSHED in there as we go...its hard to tell for sure which body part belongs to which baby...ha! Tucker is still laying high and Adelyn is still laying low. They are both healthy and wonderful! We are so blessed!

Things are definitely moving along and we are getting closer and closer to meeting our precious little blessings! We still look at each other in amazement some days and can't believe that this is really happening! We LOVE feeling the babies move...Tucker is DEFINITELY more active than little Miss Adelyn, but she gets to kicking anytime her daddy is touching my belly! We haven't decided yet if she is kicking Derek because she likes him or because she doesn't want him touching me...haha! It is SO NEAT already getting to learn their personalities!
We are also getting busy trying to get their nursery in order! Nursery planning is difficult for people with ONE baby but with TWO its crazy! Throw in Derek's busy basketball schedule and who knows if we will get it done before the babies come...haha! We did get our cribs ordered over Thanksgiving and Derek got to put them together last weekend! We decided to go with mini-cribs to save room for the two! We LOVE the cribs and can't wait to fill them up! Derek walks in there everyday and just looks at them...ready for the day when he gets to go in and pick up our babies! We are SO EXCITED!

God is SO GOOD! We are continually amazed at His faithfulness in our lives! We are so blessed to be at this point, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little blessings! We also are so excited to think about this time next year when we get to add two more stockings to the fireplace and celebrate our first holiday season with the twins! So fun!
We ask that you continue to remember us in our prayers as we continue on this journey! We have two big appointments at the first of January. One is another big sonogram to check on the twins and make sure they are both growing and developing. The next one is my 28 week check up where they test for gestational diabetes and other screenings. We are praying for continued good health and that our babies continue to grow and develop as planned! We also ask that you continue to pray for my growing belly and the difficulties that it may cause (aka...lack of sleep and ability to get off the couch...haha!!!)!
