30 Weeks + Maternity Pictures

Today we went in for our 30 week appointment! Seems like we were just at the doctor, but mostly because we are going every 2 weeks right now. The doctor's appointment was quick and to the point...we had a quick sonogram to check on both babies and then a short exam and we were done. The sonogram looked good...Little Miss Adelyn has flipped around since last time and is now head down...yea! Tucker Boy is still head up and laying on the top across my belly. We are hoping both babies will move and be head down by delivery time but we will see. Tucker doesn't always follow directions very well...ha! Our doctor exam was quick...my belly measured 38 weeks which is CRAZY! These babies have grown A LOT in the last 2 weeks!!! I measured 34 weeks last time so that was a lot of growth! The doctor said everything was looking great, I am healthy, both babies are growing, and things look good! I get to continue working and walking right now so we are thankful!

29 Weeks
30 Weeks
Life has been running pretty smoothly thus far. Basketball is still going on...we have about 3 weeks left in the season. School is moving along...trying to prepare for the rest of the semester and when I am going to be out. I just started my LAST grad school class which I am SO excited for since it is the LAST one! I am trying to work ahead and get as much of the work done as possible this month before these babies come! We have also been working on getting the nursery done, going to childbirth classes, and doing everything we can to have things ready for our big arrival! We are both looking forward to the next months and are excited to have a couple of showers coming up to help us prepare for the twins! We are so richly blessed with friends and family who already love these babies as much as we do! Little Miss Jordan can't WAIT to have some new cousins to play with and is already preparing to move in with Aunt Heather and Uncle D to help when they come...ha! She also is preparing a "Baby School" for the twins to go to. Apparently she tried to get Jaxson to go and he was not too cooperative...haha!

Last blog I said that I would be posting some maternity pictures soon. We were BLESSED to have Jessica Boling go out with us during Christmas Break and take some pictures. She is WONDERFUL and only does this as her "hobby" but we think she is pretty awesome at it! My friends are so talented! Jessica even endured the cold weather and putting up with Derek's difficult behavior to get some great shots. Derek is a mess most of the time...but he kept saying "the Bakers are family, the Bakers are family" so he could get away with acting like a mess...ha! Jessica pretty much just treated him like a brother and put up with him as best she could. Here are some of the awesome pics she got:

One of my favorite!

Our family of four!

My other favorite!

Man I have a good looking cowboy!

Is this really our life?

About the same size!

Do you know how much we love you already???

Still a miracle! Everyday!
These are just a few of the ones she got...Blogger has been quite a pain in uploading pictures or I would put even more up! We loved the ones she took and are so thankful to have the Baker/Bolings as part of the family! : )

As long as things continue to run smoothly, I will update again in about 2 weeks! Please keep us in your prayers as we hit the home stretch...can you believe its been 30 weeks already??? Our first pregnancy ended after about 5 and a half weeks so we are SO BLESSED to be at this point! Soon we will be seeing our precious babies' faces, kissing their sweet cheeks, and holding them tight! Can't wait! Love to you all!

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:1-5

Day 200

Wow! It has been almost a MONTH since I last posted! What a whirlwind the holidays have been! Between basketball season, traveling to see family, and working on getting our nursery done, we have been BUSY! We traveled quite a bit the first week of the break, seeing family, celebrating Christmas, and then spent three days at a basketball tournament in Eula. This past week we have been at home, juggling basketball and trying to get baby stuff done. Over all, the break was great, but not NEAR long enough!

Last Christmas with just 2 stockings!

Our Christmas Present...a chair for rocking those babies!

Chilling at the basketball tourney with Jax...He and DD are best buds...especially when there is food!
The two week break seemed all too short but mostly because we have been going non-stop lately! Not looking forward to starting school again tomorrow, but in some ways I am ready to get it started because I know it is officially BABY season! We are anxiously counting down the days until we meet our precious little ones and know that the time is coming SOON!!! Speaking of days...today marks my 200th day of pregnancy!!! 200!!! PRAISE be to GOD!!! After waiting 6 years to even be one day pregnant, we are SO BLESSED to reach this milestone! For those who are counting weeks, we are 28 weeks and 4 days today. To say I have grown lately would be an understatement...this belly is HUGE!!! Each week I wonder how in the world it can get any bigger and it never ceases to amaze me...ha! Here is a little recap of the last 4 weeks...

28 Weeks...dressed for maternity pics...will post those soon!

We had two doctor's visits this past week. The first was a big sonogram at radiology to check on the twins and see make sure they are growing and developing on track. Both babies looked great! Our doctor said the ultrasound report could not have looked better...praise GOD! Little Miss Adelyn is still on the bottom (Baby A) and she did a good job cooperating during the ultrasound. She was measuring about 2 days ahead of what she should be and weighed 2 lbs and 10 oz. She had a heartbeat of 150 and was doing great! We even got to see her sweet little face which brought me to tears! Can't wait to kiss those sweet cheeks and hold her in my arms! Tucker on the other hand was a mess during the sonogram...as usual! He was not very cooperative in showing us his boy parts or his face. Little sister even tried punching him a few times to help him get in line and he still wouldn't move...too funny! He is a BIG boy already...measuring a whole WEEK ahead of where we were. He also weighs a little more than Adelyn at 2 lbs 14 oz and had a heartbeat of 147. Both twins were doing great...big and healthy and growing. We will probably have another sonogram like this one in a month or so to check and make sure that we are still on track!

On Friday, we had a doctor's appointment and I had my glucose test. We have not got back the results of the glucose test yet, but hoping for good news. Basically it would show if I have gestational diabetes or not. Things looked good at the doctor. I am measuring 34 weeks...which is 6 weeks ahead, but normal for twins. My doctor said that everything is going well and I am showing no signs of pre-term labor...which is great. He also gave me no restrictions, so I am able to keep working and walking right now. We will be heading back to the doctor in 2 weeks and probably keep going fairly often from here on out.

Several people has asked how long we have left or when my due date is...which is actually kinda a hard question...haha! Our official due date is March 27th, which is a 40 week calculation that usually goes with one baby. Twins usually come early...anywhere from 35-38 weeks. We are hoping to make it to the 37-38 week mark, which is right around Spring Break. After about 38 weeks, my doctor said twins don't do very well since they are out of room. So we are expecting to have babies sometime around the end of February, first of March, God-willing! We want them to stay in as long as possible and get nice and big and healthy so that we can bring them home! It would also be WONDERFUL if I can continue working all the way to Spring Break. That is my goal! 9 more weeks!

We ask that you continue praying for us as this part of our journey starts nearing the end! We are so thankful for all of you who have prayed for us to get to this point and ask that you remember us in your prayers the next couple of months. We are praying for continued growth and development for the babies and that they continue to stay healthy and INSIDE for as long as possible. We are praying that my body continues to stay healthy and can handle the stress and pressure of keeping up with two growing babies while I continue to work. We are already praying for the doctors and nurses that will be helping to bring these babies into the world and that they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to make the best decisions for the health of our babies and me. And we are praying daily that God help mold us into parents and give us the hearts to raise these precious babies to know and love Him. Thank you for your partnership and love that you have shown throughout this process. As we get closer and closer, I will hopefully blog more often to keep you all updated! Love to you all!

Headed to childbirth class...getting ready for the BIG DAY!
