15 Weeks!

Today, we had a doctor's appointment to check on the babies. They had grown SO MUCH! It was so neat to see them on the sonogram! We could see fingers, toes, their spines, and so much more detail! Both babies were moving all over the place!!! They had even flipped in their little sacs and were facing opposite directions then last time. It is kinda hard to figure out which one is which now that they are getting so big. They are moving so much and all over the place!!! Twin A was being a little more mischievous this time, trying to wave and wiggle into the picture while we were looking at B...haha! Then B start turning flips for us, trying to hide his/her face. They are too funny already...so much personality! Our nurse didn't check size or heartbeats today, just made sure that they were both growing and beating...which they were! Praise God! I am definitely growing so I'm glad they are too...haha!

Twin B (we think)

Twin A (we think)

The only way I can fit them in one picture is to use PicStitch...haha!
The doctor's appointment went good. The doctor said everything looked great and I was right on track. It is so weird not to be under such close surveillance...I guess this is what normal pregnant women feel like...ha! We were hardly in the office for more than 10 minutes! We are going back in three weeks for another check and at that appointment we will schedule the "BIG" sonogram to see what these little monkeys are! Very exciting to say the least! We are feeling so blessed at this point that everything is going so "normal"...despite our very un-normal journey to this point. Our babies are healthy and so am I...for which we are truly blessed!

Everything else seems to be going good. School is keeping us busy and basketball is just around the corner! I am feverishly trying to finish up grad school work while juggling all of my other school responsibilities. As long as I complete my next three classes on time, I should be walking the stage in May...which makes me SUPER excited! For starters...I started this master's degree at a very hard time in my life when we were so frustrated with our fertility journey. How faithful God has been and how amazing it will be to walk the stage with our precious miracles in the stands watching! God has been so good! Having these twins and getting my masters are two dreams that I was not quite sure would ever come true. And now I am loving watching God's plans come into play. How great is our God???

So for now...things are going good! We continue to covet your prayers throughout this pregnancy. I feel like we fought so hard to get to that magic 12 week mark and it took SO LONG to get there!!! So many doctor's appointments, shots, pills, blood draws, sonograms, prayers and tears...and now that we have passed that mark...time is FLYING!!! We are now 15 weeks and it seems like just yesterday we announcing our pregnancy! We are thankful, grateful, and blessed to be on this journey and to have so many of you join us along the way. We love you all!

  1. Heather, I have a niece who has gone through what you are going through, twice. She now has three healthy, boisterous, school-age children. God is good.
