Easter Weekend

We had a great first Easter with the twins this past weekend! On Friday, Mimi, Papa, and Aunt Mitsy came to visit. They brought the twins an Easter basket filled with new summer outfits and candy!

On Saturday, we celebrated my mom's birthday and played with Jordan, Jaxson, Aunt Hillary, and Uncle Grant. We had a great time!

On Sunday, we headed to mom and dad's early to see what the Easter bunny had brought! We did a little photo shoot outside with Jordan, Jaxson, and the twins. Then we took the twins to church for the first time! They slept the entire time, except for one poopy diaper! Afterwards, we went back to Grammy and Grumpy's for lunch. The twins got to play with Aunt Margie, Lyndsay & John, Ben & Kristen, Bretley & Kade. All the big kids hunted eggs while Tucker and Adelyn watched. Next year they will be right out there with the rest of them!

It was a great weekend! The twins are getting so big! We are enjoying every minute of it! We also enjoyed getting to play with Jordan and Jaxson! It was nice not to be big and pregnant or recovering from surgery...Aunt Hee-haw actually got to run and play!

Today is sad for our little family...Derek is returning to work full-time. We are going to miss him SO MUCH but know that he is doing what he needs to do. Mommy was feeling a little nervous about being home, but thankfully Grammy came to help out. We had our very best night of sleep last night so that helped. Prayers are welcome as we make this transition!
